Horses

From the Vintage Collection

Tones: Parchment, Ink Black

Why We Love It:  Calling all equestrian lovers! Welcome this beautiful herd to our Vintage Collection. This early 1900's ink drawing of three horses feels ageless. It's playful enough to work in a child's bedroom yet sophisticated enough to be styled in an adult space.

From The Artist:  Leo Gestel Dutch painter known for his contributions to the modern art movement in the Netherlands. He was associated with various styles and his work often featured still lifes, landscapes, and portraits, characterized by vibrant colors and expressive brushwork. Most of his wildly eclectic work was unfortunately lost when a fire destroyed his studio.
